Former TD Bank and ING Group Chief Architect Appointed President of Talos Enterprise Blockchain

In a step to better providing blockchain solutions for enterprises, Talos Enterprise Blockchain has announced that Minaz Sarangi has joined as president. Sarangi was earlier the Chief Architect at TD Bank Financial Group and ING Group, and brings over 30 years of expertise to the executive team.

Said Sarangi in a statement, “I’ve been impressed with Talos Enterprise Blockchain for some time and am excited to join at this stage of growth.”

Talos Enterprise Blockchain offers solutions to enterprises, from strategy consulting to management of large scale permissioned-based networks. Among the team Sarangi will be leading are:

  • Michael Luna, the former CTO at Jawbone and named on more than 117 issued US patents
  • Shahid Ahmed, member of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Technology Advisory Council
  • Camilo Usuga, co-founder of one of Latin America’s first social commerce startups, Talos Digital, along with:
  • CEO Amyn Gillani
  • CMO Keith Magnum.

The organization entered the market earlier this year supported by a veteran management team. According to recent studies, the blockchain industry around the world is expected to exceed $2 trillion within the upcoming decade.

After an up and down 2017 and a difficult market in 2018, the blockchain industry appears to be refocusing itself on providing new actionable solutions for users.

According to a study carried out by “Big Four” auditing and financial services company KPMG, leaders have great expectations for the use of blockchain technology. 23% of those surveyed believe that efficiency in terms of business processes can be improved through the implementation and application of blockchain technology.
